British American Tobacco Zimbabwe - Kenneth Gitonga

Mr. Kenneth Gitonga is a holder of a Bachelor of Commerce Degree (Marketing), a Master of Science in Organizational Development and Management and is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Business Administration.

Mr. Kenneth Gitonga joined BAT in 2011 as a Brand Manager for BAT East and Central Africa. He later re-joined BAT Kenya in April 2017 as a National Sales Manager and in 2018, proceeded for an international assignment at the BAT Group office in London, UK where he took on the role of Trade Marketing Manager for the Americas and Sub-Sahara Africa region and subsequently, International Brand Manager for the Modern Oral Nicotine portfolio. In April 2021, he moved to BAT South Africa as Head of Activations for the East & Southern Africa Area. Soon after, he was appointed as the Head of Trade for East BAT African Markets in February 2022 and subsequently to Head of Commercial for BAT East & Southern Africa Markets, a role he held until his current appointment.

Mr. Kenneth Gitonga serves on the Board of Pesaswap E.A Limited and is a Trustee for Rainbow Colours Foundation.
